Last week, Avery and I went on a date. It was a night to remember for sure. I love spending one on one time with my babies. She was thrilled before we even left the house because she got to wear a dress. She is very easy to please.
We went to Frisch's Big Boy because we had a free kids meal coupon. It was a step up from our usual McDonald's. The dinner started by Avery telling me she didn't want to sit across from me, but right by me. That made me happy. We colored as we waited for our food...
Our waiter looked about 14 to me, but he was good and so sweet to Avery. She was beyond excited when he brought her milk with a curly straw in it that he said he picked out just for her...
She chose to eat pancakes and bacon for her dinner and sat like this the whole time...
My favorite quote of the night was, "Mommy, what if me and you were deep sea divers?"
Oh, and it turned out I was so into the moment that I completely forgot to use the coupon. Oops. That's okay though. It was worth every penny.

I love one on one time. I'm glad you had a great time. PS, I thought of you because I bought some cracker jars this weekend for our neverending supply of Cheez its and Life cereal.
Jordis has those same shoes! I love them, and sadly they are too small now. My kids love Frisch's, too. This summer we took them to the one in Covington and they made us take their picture next to the Big Boy statue out front.
